The Wacom 2nd Wacom Anime/Manga Contest ends with 454 entries! |
The 2nd Wacom Anime/Manga Contest ended on Saturday, May 31st with some 455 original entries---our most successful contest yet!! There were so many amazing, unique entries expressing the theme "My First Love" in the anime/manga artistic style. The situations that were depicted went far beyond what the simple romance theme that we had in mind, but that's quite all right. It shows the incredible imagination of those who submitted entries. We want to take our time and examine each and every one of the unique entries closely before we make a decision as to who the winners will be, so please check back on Monday, June 30th for the winners.

203 gallery postings in during the selection period, and we really had to fight it out among ourselves to choose 2 winners and 2 runner-ups! Winners will get both a Bamboo Fun graphics tablet and an Expose 5 art book from Ballistic Publishing, our partners in Australia. Runner-ups will also get Expose 5 art book. Congratulations!

Due to overwhelming response, we can no longer handle direct requests for listing in popular categories of the Artist Gallery. Please post your artwork in the Community Gallery. Excellent work will be selected from time to time to be moved to the Artist Gallery. Categories in which we are still accepting direct requests are: 3D Rendering, Mixed Media and Graphic Design.

CORRECTION: In the Asia Pacific Lifestyle Contest, the Grand Prize will be given to the entry that best represents the Asia Pacific region as a whole, and the prize is an Intuos3 of choice + Art Pen & Air Brush. The Multicultural Life Award winner will receive an Intuos3 6x8 or Intuos 6x11. We apologize for the misunderstanding.
