Wacom and Web Design

Web designers have many things in common with graphics designers, animators, image processors and DTP editors - you are a jack of all chores. Intuos3 can perfectly assist you in achieving your goals.

Do your graphics in a vector program and use the pen's pressure to add naturalism to your illustrations. Or de-form your shapes using pressure - as simple as that.

Animate your brush strokes and use the Touch Strip to jog through the timeline - save time and get unique as well as creative results.

Even in HTML editors, Intuos3 can help you effectively: Due to the large screen estate of those programs, you will reach menus, palettes and a certain line of code faster thanks to the absolute positioning of the Intuos3 pen tablet and the Touch Strips' scrolling feature.

Have you ever experienced tired fingers from hours and hours of mouse-clicking? Here's another benefit of Wacom's ergonomic pen tablet design--less repetitive stress on your fingers, hands and arms preventing repetitive stress injuries. Click here for more information on Wacom's ergonomics

Some software highlights:
· Adobe Photoshop™ supports the pressure and tilt sensitivity of the Intuos3 pens and the finger wheel of the Intuos3 airbrush. This can be assigned to opacity, brush size, scatter and many other options. Create perfectly feathered masks or realistic brush strokes controlled by the pen only.

· Macromedia Flash™ has a pressure-sensitive brush tool that enables you to create natural-looking drawings that can be animated. And jog along the timeline by using the Intuos3 Touch Strip.

· Create natural brush strokes that vary in width in Macromedia Freehand™: The strokes are converted into vector paths on-the-fly. Or use the pressure-sensitive freeform tool to turn mathematically exact shapes into organic looking objects.

· Adobe Illustrator™ records the pen's pressure along the path - with a simple click you can change the path from a classic stroke into a pattern that changes size, orientation or scatter based on the pressure curve.

· In Macromedia Fireworks™, pressure data are stored along a vector path, while they can also be modified later on.

· In Adobe GoLive™ and Macromedia Dreamweaver™, you work with absolute postioning, which gives you ease of use and lets you work significantly faster, even when you have several windows or palettes open. The scrolling function of the Intuos3 Touch Strip will help you to find lines of codes faster than with a keyboard.
